Toggle individual channels — keep The Guardian if you want it, block Sky News. Your list, your rules.

Right-click any video and choose Add to UK Legacy list to block that channel instantly.

Privacy & security

What the extension does — and what it does not do.

Local only. Filtering runs entirely in your browser. No accounts, analytics, or data is sent to us or any third party.
YouTube only. The extension activates on YouTube pages to hide videos from channels on your list. It does not run on other sites.
Minimal permissions. The extension uses storage to save your channel list and settings on your device. Nothing else leaves your machine.
No custom code execution. Legacy BlockTube “custom JavaScript filter” support has been removed. The extension does not run eval or load remote scripts.
No external fonts or trackers on this site, except the Buy Me a Coffee button in the support section (loaded from Buymeacoffee’s CDN).
Optional settings lock. You can password-protect the options page. The password is stored locally on your device (not hashed — treat it as a casual lock, not bank-grade security).
